As it Stands #02 Table Toppers and Relegation Reality

Updated: Nov 15

Frankfurt have made a great start to the season and find themselves 3rd in the Bundesliga

The bad news is that we've hit another international break. The good news is that this is the last one until March 2025. The break gives us a chance to take stock across the continent as campaigns begin to build momentum. Table toppers are staking their claim and cementing their claims for a title push, whereas toward the bottom there are teams who are nervously seeing their campaign spiral into relegation battles.

While managers and supporters can draw a breath, players begin their international duty obligations. Meanwhile, 3 Points are here to summarise how the league campaigns are shaping up.

3 Points can take YOU a long way, with mystery football weekends across all of the leagues mentioned below. What are you waiting for? Start your mystery tour today – with the most flexible mystery football trips on the market. See here for more details on how it works.

Serie A 🇮🇹

Italy has the most enthralling title battle unravelling across all of Europe. There are just two points between 1st and 6th with little to separate the title runners and riders. Antonio Conte's Napoli are retain top spot for now after a fine start. One of their hiccups came against the form team Atalanta who sit a point behind. Fiorentina, Inter and Lazio are all in red hot form and have 25 points. Thiago Motta's Juventus are the last unbeaten team in the league but have drawn as many as they've won. It is the league to watch after the break and we can't wait to see how it pans out.

Roma have sacked their second manager of the season after a miserable start to the campaign, finding themselves in 12th. There have been difficult starts for Venezia and Como. Genoa might have brought Captain Chaos Mario Ballotelli back, but they need to start winning some games.

Super League 1 🇬🇷

Superligaen 🇩🇰

La Liga 🇪🇸

Hansi Flick and Barcelona have started impressively, no more so than the 4-0 demolition job at the Bernabéu. A hiccup just before the break has seen the door left slightly ajar for injury hit and out of form Real Madrid, who could be just 3 points behind if they win their game in hand. Ancelotti will want to see the best of new singing Mbappe after the break, who has had a relatively quite start to life in Spain. A special mention for Villarreal and Osasuna who have started the campaign well. Girona are struggling to balance the Champions League and domestic form, sitting 10th. Valencia find themselves at the foot of the table

Bundesliga 🇩🇪

Liga Portugal 🇵🇹

Eredivisie 🇳🇱

Ligue 1 🇫🇷

PSG have started with a swagger and style to suggest they won’t hang around in making it four from 9 titles in 11 years. Yet to lose in the league, 29 points from a possible 33 make it hard to beat. Monaco are the closest competitors sitting in 2nd, there have been some memorable late victories this season already. If Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille can bring their away form back home they might be able to mount a consistent charge. Champions League Brest might be 4th in the Champions League table, but their European exerts are taking a toll in the domestic league.

Super Lig 🇹🇷

Jose Mourinho might have brought the fireworks to Fenerbache, but it’s Galatasaray that have started with a bang. Unbeaten in the league and free scoring no doubt thanks to Victor Osimhen. Fener are 5 points back, crazier things have happened though...

First Division A 🇧🇪

It's a marathon not a sprint but it is time for hopefuls to put a run together this side of Christmas that puts them in the running. There is still plenty of time for twists and turns, grab the popcorn...🍿

Stay tuned and up to date with all of this seasons drama with 3 Points.
